The Timberline data acquisition software is designed for use with the TL-2X00 ammonia analyzer and a CETAC auto-sampler. This software provides auto-sampler control and generates quantitative data from the ammonia analyzer's 24-bit analog to digital signal. As well, It acts as the operations prompt and reports status of the current analysis.

The software consists of four separate routines: Method setup, Data Acquisition, Peak Detect and Reporting. The acquisition routine collects data from the ammonia analyzer during the auto-sampler's timed sequence. The peak detect routine identifies individual peaks and calculates their height. Raw peak height information is passed to the reporting routine where it is processed and the final data table is created. This data table includes the calibration summary as well as sample tube, and control tube results.

Data generated by the software can be reviewed directly in a tabular report form or exported to Microsoft Excel for further data processing and or reporting.

Timberline Data Acquisition Software - Setup Screen

Setup Parameters screen: This screen includes sections to name your runs, set up timing parameters, select the number of tubes to run, and create unique sample IDs.

Timberline Data Acquisition Software - Data Acquisition Screen

Data Acquisition screen: This screen displays peak data as it is being collected. The various fields show the status of the current analysis. A cancel run feature is included that allows the user to stop the data acquisition process.

Timberline Data Acquisition Software - Peak Detect Screen

Peak Detect screen: This screen displays all peak data that was collected during data acquisition. The user can also switch between peak height and peak area determiniation, as well as allowing the user to print and/or save the raw data for later retrieval.

Timberline Data Acquisition Software - Calibration Screen

Calibration Screen: This screen allows the user to check the calibration that the software will use to calculate sample concentrations. The user can select between linear regression and second order polynomial data fitting routines
